Acceptance

By using ShiftText ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Service description

ShiftText is a free online tool that rewrites submitted text in a user-selected tone. Rewrites are generated by third-party language models accessed via OpenRouter.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Submit content you do not have the right to use.
• Generate illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, or harassing content.
• Circumvent rate limits through automated access or multiple IPs.
• Submit content that could harm minors.

Rate limits

Free users are limited to 3 rewrites per 24 hours per IP address. Limits may change without notice.

No guarantee

Output is generated by probabilistic language models and may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing output before using it. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShiftText and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
